We are grateful to the Lord for the many people at MUC who in obedience to Christ as the Great Head of the church cheerfully exercise their gifting through a variety of ministries that take place throughout the week.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in in its various forms

Bible Studies

The early church gathered together in the temple and in smaller groups in homes (Acts 2:46). A small-group bible study is an invaluable aid to developing a deeper relationship with God and closer relationships with fellow believers.

I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.

At our Bible Study, we learn from and discuss the scriptures with Christian men that, by grace, have come to rely on the Word of God to guide them and their families. Expect great coffee, snacks, fellowship and a few laughs!

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart

Youth Ministry

We are grateful to the Lord for the many wonderful young people within MUC who are diligently seeking to know, and grow in, their love for Christ Jesus, by digging deeper into the Word of God and by submitting to his Lordship.

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees.

Psalm 119:9-12

Sunday School

Sundays, 9:00, MUC

Our Sunday School join the church for the first part of the worship service and thereafter go out to their classes. Our desire is that through the teaching that they receive our children will come to know Christ as their Saviour and start to grow in Him.

What we have heard and known what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

Psalm 78:3-4

Fridays, 19:00-21:00, MUC
Contact Jared: 078 174 1709

This ministry is for those who are in grades 7-12, and who are looking for a place to worship, learn more about God, and to have a bit of fun too.

We play some games, engage in a time of worship, and then listen to a Gospel-centred message, which is reinforced through small groups at the end.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7

Kidz inC.

Thursdays, 15:00-16:15, MUC
Contact Jared: 078 174 1709

Kidz inC (Kidz in Christ) is a youth group aimed at those in grades 2-7, and aims to provide a place for kids to have fun and learn about Jesus.

We also run an outreach program of this youth group on Fridays, aiming to reach children of the same age, in the local community, who are not of a church-going background.

Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendour.

Isaiah 60:21

As a church we are joyfully driven by our Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19-20, “therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

We are working towards a mission strategy that is patterned after Acts 1:8 to see the sphere of our mission influence extend from our Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria and ultimately to the ends of the earth.

Ryan and Tammy Smulders

Their ministry goal is to offer young adults and school leavers an opportunity to study God’s Word, be discipled, and get involved in various ministries in order to equip them to grow in their walk with the Lord and serve Him wherever He takes them in life.
